PokéHybrid Dex
Guide to using the PKHDex
A bit lost with the Dex layout? I tried to make it as easy to use as possible, but if you need clarification or a complete run-down of the Dex, look no further!
Main Page
The main Dex page shows which artists submit to the site, when their most recent page update took place, and whether or not they have anything new to show you this update. It also has a link to where artists can submit their work, which should be a pretty straightforward process with enough description on its own.
A "+" symbol next to an artist's name indicates that he or she has at least one new image in his or her Dex from the most recent update.
At the bottom of the page is a quick link to the most recent uploaded images.
Artist's Pages
Here you will most likely see an artist's favorite work on showcase, as well as a little bit of information about the artist. At the bottom of the page is an updates list, followed by a preview of the pictures the artist submitted on his or her last update.
Each artist has four sections in his or her Dex: DEX, GAL, TFS, and ETC.
DEX - The artist's renditions of possible PokéHybrids for each species of Pokémon.
GAL - A gallery of works that either feature more than one PokéHybrid or are just more for art's sake than DEX entries. Also, when DEX entries are replaced, the original images are moved here.
TFS - If the artist has any illustrated transformation sequences, they will be here. This fits best for frame-by-frame TF sequences, though one-shots work if they aren't wanted in the gallery.
ETC - Miscellaneous pictures that don't involve PokéHybrids at all. Anthros of other animals or monsters can be well at home here.
I only put my foot down when something obviously seems off, such as submitting a picture of a Clefairy-hybrid into the ETC section or an image of a unicorn into the DEX section, but other than that artists can make up their own minds as to where they want what images stored. (If an artist wants to take something down, he or she should e-mail me or send me a private message in the forums.)
Images in each section are arranged from newest to oldest.
Mature Artwork
Jim has allowed his site content to mature a bit, so now there is use of a MATURE tag on certain image thumbnails containing either nudity, suggestive themes, intense language, or intense violence. I'm assuming most of the site's viewers have grown and matured, so this is no problem for them; but I think the younger viewers or easily offended should have fair warning about which pictures they may want to avoid.
There is still a ZERO TOLERANCE for pornography and "tasteless" nudity, however artistic or symbolic nudity is acceptable. Since I'm the one reviewing submissions it will have to fit within my standards, though if there is any confusion Jim will have the final say. I will basically accept it as long as it isn't sexually suggestive.
Enjoy the PokéHybrid Dex!
